Is the developer job market oversaturated?

I got a question this week. Will there be too many developers and not enough jobs in the near future?
My answer: no.
The world runs on software & the trend is still growing. We need more developers & will continue to need them!
AI won’t take developer jobs any time soon. You’ll have to stay nimble and up to date with your skills.
But we’ll still need developers in 2030, 2040, & beyond.
